Home Inspection FAQ’s

  • Why do I need a home inspection?

Home inspections are meant to protect you from any problems with a property that you may not realize by just walking through the property. A Skilled home inspector should have extensive knowledge of every aspect of homes and can identify issues so you can be prepared.

  • How much is a home inspection?

We have pricing available to view in the pricing tab on our website. The pricing displayed is the MAX fee and is based on the homes square footage.

  • What's our availability?

We are a one inspector company and we are currently only offering weekend home inspections because our inspector is a home builder during the week.

  • How long are your inspections?

Home inspections are an extensive process and I would plan for a minimum of 2 hours on site for smaller homes and upwards of 3+ hours on larger homes. Inspection reports are guaranteed to be back within 24 hours though they are usually back same day as the inspection.

  • What do you look for?

There are a ton of things we look for but the main two kinds of things I look for are things that will damage the home and things that present a safety hazard to the residents. We are not a code inspector nor are we super concerned about cosmetic issues.

  • How do I coordinate an inspection?

Just provide us with your realtors contact info and we will handle coordinating the inspection. I generally recommend my clients to be with me at home inspections as it’s a great learning experience for home buyers.
